This Privacy Policy explains how ShareHall (the "Service"), a self-hosted social media scheduling and publishing application, handles information when you use it. ShareHall is operated by the individual or organization that hosts this deployment (the "Operator").
Information is used solely to operate the Service for you: to authenticate you, to display your connected accounts, and to schedule and publish the content you create to the platforms you have explicitly authorized. ShareHall does not sell your data and does not use it for advertising.
When you authorize a connection, you grant ShareHall permission—through that platform's official OAuth flow—to act on your behalf within the scopes you approve (for example, publishing videos or posts). Your use of each platform is also governed by that platform's own privacy policy. You can revoke ShareHall's access at any time from within the Service or from the platform's own app/security settings.
Your data is stored in the database and file storage of this self-hosted deployment, under the Operator's control. Access tokens and content are retained until you delete them, disconnect the associated account, or delete your account. Disconnecting an account removes its stored tokens.
Passwords are hashed and platform tokens are stored for the sole purpose of operating your connections. Sessions are protected with secure, HTTP-only cookies. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and the security of a self-hosted deployment ultimately depends on the Operator's configuration.
The Service is not directed to children below the age required to hold accounts on the connected platforms, and we do not knowingly process their data.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
